Summer season is wrapping up, but be on the lookout for some major team events here in the next few weeks.  On a Side note, the IES held their first open water swim, where 5 of our athletes competed, racking up quite an impressive list of accomplishments.  See the Open Water swim results below.

-Calendar Notes

***Remember that there is a change in practice time NEXT Tuesday, July 14^th.  Practice will go from 3-5 PM. 

***Also, there will be no practice Thursday July 16^th due to Whitworth pool needs. 

- Moses Lake Scratches

As you know, there had to be some scratches made from the Moses Lake meet to make the time-line reasonable.  PLEASE Double check your events, No Times (NT) were taken out of many events.  You may have been scratched out of Friday’s events, PLEASE Check your entries.  Timeline is also posted on the website.

-Long Course Champs

Champs entries will be posted on the wall, attached to this e-mail, and put up on the web-site.  Please check them and get any correction to the coaches ASAP.

-Developmental Meet Recap

On Saturday, June 27, over 70 SWAT swimmers joined with swimmers from CAST and SAS for a meet at Whitworth.  It was a great little meet with lots of fast swimming!  Thanks to all who participated!

- Snake River Challenge Recap

A big congratulation to our 4 SWAT swimmers and 1 Masters swimmer who competed at the Open Water swim on July 4.  Marcia White represented our Masters swimmers well and swam a great race, while Megan Schuh, Nate Endebrock, Jono Williams, and Jacob White all finished strong and swam fast.  Megan was 2^nd, Nate was 3^rd, Jono was 4^th, and Jacob was 8^th.  Great job everyone!

-Silverwood

You may have seen the flyer that was sent out last week.  Saturday, July 18^th there will be a SWAT Silverwood Day!  Please check the web-site for more information.  www.teamunify.com/EventsCurrent.jsp

-Team Summer Break

The last practice for those not going to Zones or Jr. Nationals will be Aug. 1^st.  Returning members will start up again August 31^st, with public tryouts starting September 14^th.  If you have any questions, please call me @ 509-230-7006.
