Hello Waves Families, Coaches Note 7-14, 2009
With just a few more weeks of swimming left for the summer, there are a few last things to take care of. Please take a look at the bullet points below, or check out the web-site for more details.
-Sizzlin Summer – SWAT places 1st!!!
We had a fantastic meet, filled with great swims, fun times, and awesome weather. Our team had the chance to swim against a few other teams from different areas, and really had a chance to show them what we were made of. Congratulations on winning the overall team point race, amassing 662 points, over 100 more than the 2nd place team. Here’s a quick numbers breakdown of the meet:
1st Place as a team
175 best times from 53 swimmers
15 individual team records from 5 swimmers

-Last Practice August 1st.

-Returning in the Fall
Please let us know if you are not planning on returning in the fall. Our first day back will be Aug. 31st. We will have a few days of registration, orientation, and introduction to the new web-site.

-Champs! Next week, Thursday- Sunday.
If you are going to champs, please check with your coach about what events you are entered in, and be ready to swim! We have a great chance to move up in the IES standings this meet, Good luck to everyone, and stay focused for these last few weeks.
