Michael Manalansan is a former co-captain of the Bartlett-Streamwood High School co-op swim team and a graduate from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Architecture.

As a self-taught swimmer, Michael’s coaching style revolves around daily drill progressions to simplify the strokes for novice swimmers while challenging more experienced athletes to see the strokes in a different, more detailed way.

In addition to coaching, Michael also works as the lessons supervisor for Swim With Bill, our swim lessons program at Melissa Lane, where he helps lay the foundation for the next generation of swimmers.
