Finding a great swim lesson program that fits your schedule and gets you the efficient results you are looking for can prove to be impossible. Bearshark Swim Lessons alleviate this strain by providing lessons that fit your schedule are aimed at your swimmer's personal goals.


Scheduling is a breeze with our online scheduler! After you turn in the online lesson form and payment, you will receive an email to schedule your lessons. From here, you can easily plot calendar dates & times that fit into your schedule. You will also receive a call from your instructor to discuss swimming history and goals for your child before the first lesson. Our instructors will use this information to create a plan to get your swimmer water competent to any level. Please contact us directly to ask any questions about your lesson itinerary.



The Bearshark Swim Lesson Program aims to get your kids swimming safely and help grow aquatic synergy in our community. Columbian Aquatics Pool Members receive priorty registration and times. We have instructors designated to CAC members. This allows CAC members to receive lesson instructors and time slots not in competition with non-member lessons.

Lesson Packages

Available Lesson Packages: All lessons are 30 minutes.(Please note Semi-Private is limited to 2 swimmers.)

Private: Single (Member) $20 (Public) $30

Semi-Private: 6-pack (Member) $150 (Public) $200 (Semi-Private lessons are two kids, each kid would be $75 or $100)

Payment must be made in full before scheduling lessons. Membership status must be verified before accepting payment at membership pricing.

Payments can be made:

Over the phone to the KC office (Contact Above)

Deliever in person at the KC pool front desk (When Open)

Deliver in person the office locate inside the Casey's Pub

  • Checks made payable to Columbian Aquatic Center.
  • Swimmer cannot be left alone at lessons. They must always have a parent/ guardian available on the premises.
  • Upon arrival at the lesson, you must sign in the swimmer before they can get in the water so arrive a few minutes early.
  • All swimmers are required to wear goggles during lessons and a swim cap. Goggles cannot have a nose covering or be a scuba mask.
  • Instructors can be asked at any time about goggles and cap purchasing. The goggles that they carry with them are suggested kid frame goggles in assorted colors for $10. Caps ($5) can also be purchased from the instructors
  • At the top of the page is a button titles "Purchase Cap and/or Googles", By Selecting this you will be brought to a form, fill in the questions and clikc submit. Payment is seperate from the lesson package payment, and is asked on the first day of lessons. Any Checks for caps and googles please make out to BASC.

Steps to Your First Class -

  1. Turn in electronic or printable Lesson Forms and Payments
  2. Receive Welcome Email with Registration Link
  3. Register for Class Times
  4. Receive Confirmation Email After Registering
  5. Receive Contact from Instructor (text/call)
  6. Purchase All Necessary Items for Class (i.e., goggles and swim caps
  7. Arrive for My First Lesson (five minutes early!)
  8. Remember to Sign-in Swimmer in for Class on the Clipboard at the Pool (must be done each class)

Lesson Requirements -

  • ALL kids must wear a swim cap and goggles while enrolled in swim lessons. These items can be purchased through our program. The button at the top of the page will allow you to preorder these items for your lessons to pick up at your first class. We have discounted kid-frame goggles that we promote due to the quality and fit of these goggles.
