INTRODUCING YOUR BBSC DOLPHINS HEAD COACH
JENN PAUL
Hello! My name is Jennifer Paul, and I am so honored and excited to be the new head coach at Bradley-Bourbonnais Swim Club! I was born in New York and have lived there most my life; however, I finished my high school years in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after a move with my family. I am currently working on my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Physical Therapy here in Illinois at Olivet Nazarene University. Eventually after college I would like to further attend school to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I have also just recently wrapped up my swim career at Olivet after a whole 17 ½ years. My top events were the 200 freestyle, 200 butterfly, and 500 freestyle. From a very young age, I discovered my passion for swimming, and it has given me the opportunity to make great friends that will last long after swimming is over and have once in a lifetime experience. As I begin this new chapter as head coach, I hope to give these swimmers the same opportunities as I had to work hard, make new friends, work toward, and reach their goals, and most importantly, have fun! I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together as a team! Go Dolphins!

About Us
Bradley-Bourbonnais Swim Club is a year-round competitive youth swim team created to accommodate kids in the area from ages 5-18. Our practice facility encompasses an 8-lane, 25-yard short course pool with a movable bulkhead that separates the competition pool from an additional warm-up area. We are registered with both Illinois Swimming, USA Swimming, and the South Suburban Swim Conference. Our swimmers join us from Bradley, Bourbonnais, Limestone, Kankakee, and Manteno to name a few. We encourage our swimmers to commit to excellence every day - in the pool and out. We focus on age and ability level-appropriate training and proper swim technique, building skills to become better swimmers and stronger competitors. BBSC Dolphins is a great way for kids to meet new friends, be a part of a team, stay healthy, and most importantly, have fun! We are a parent-run organization with an elected board of directors who are focused on bringing the best swimming has to offer to our area.

Mission Statement
As a competitive swim team, our mission is for swimmers to develop and improve swimming techniques as a means of personal growth and development. The team seeks to maximize the potential of development through championship-level athletes. We stress friendship, collaboration, mutual acceptance, and respect for others. We also believe that the improvement of one’s performance, having fun, and teamwork is more important than winning.
