2018 - 2019 Winter ‘Virtual’ IM/Distance Challenge 

From December 17, 2018 - January 6, 2019, any BNSC swimmer who swims 1000, 1650, and 400 IM during a meet or in practice for a time will automatically become apart of the challenge.

The Virtual Distance Challenge will rank all swimmers who compete in the state and award the top finishers in the 1000, 1650 Freestyles and 400 IM by single age and gender. Swimmers may participate in one or all three events. 

The Pool Plunge!  Open Water Distance Challenge 

From December 1, 2018 - January 15, 2019, any BNSC swimmer who swims the 1000, 1650, Open 3K, and Open 5K during a meet or in practice for a time will automatically become apart of the challenge. This challenge is to help athletes experience the opportunity of longer distances and Open Water in a controlled environment. 

1000, 1650, Open 3K, and Open 5K must be swum individually for the time to count. Swimmers may participate in one, two or all four events. The top 3 finishes in the 5K and 3K men and women will receive a Pool Plunge award.
