Gabe Omo-Osagie, Centennial High School

When did you start swimming? How did you get started? What teams or clubs have you swum with?

I started swimming when I was six years old because my mother feared that I would drown whenever we went to my grandparents lake-house. I took lessons with indian acres and eventually joined the Aquachiefs.  I switched from Aquachiefs to Storm but the two teams were eventually merged and Champaign Heat was my club team for the rest of my career. I stopped swimming for 3 years and came back to it junior year and swam for Champaign Centennial for the remainder of highschool.

What are your college plans? Will you swim? What will you major in?

What is your favorite event? Least favorite?

My favorite events are the 50 and 100 freestyle, least favorite is the 500 freestyle.
