When did you start swimming?  How did you get started?  What teams or clubs have you swum with?

I started swimming when I was four years old for Champaign Country Club. My mom wanted my brothers and I to know how to swim and thought that swimming in the summer with the CCC would be fun. After a few summers of CCC I began to swim year round. I have swum for CCC, Storm Aquatics, Indian Acres, and Heat.

What are your college plans?  Will you swim?  What will you major in?

I plan on attending Auburn University and majoring in Elementary Education

What have you learned from swimming?

Swimming has taught me many things for both in the pool and out. Not only have I learned time management, but swimming has taught me how to set goals and work for them and to control what I can while trying to reach those goals.

What is your favorite swimming memory?

Though I have been to some of the biggest meets and have been a part of great success, when I think about fun times in swimming I will always remember going to the USA Age Group swimming meets with my best friends. Our families would always drive to the meets together, stay in the same hotel, and go out to eat together. Those girls made swimming fun for me.

What is your favorite event?  Least favorite?

My favorite event to swim is the 100 fly. I swam the 100 fly for the first time when I was 7 years old and loved it but, when I was about 13 years old I did awful at one of my meets and refused to swim fly again. It was not until my senior year that I fell in love with the event again. My least favorite events are all distance events.

What is your favorite movie?  Favorite food?  Favorite place?

My favorite food is and will forever be ice cream and my favorite movie is Serendipity and Sweet Home Alabama.

What 3 people would you invite to dinner?

My brothers (Elliott, Tyler, and Colin) because it is not very often we all get to hang out together.

Tell us something about yourself that people might find surprising or interesting.

I love to bake and have never made brownies from the box. My brothers and dad would always get mad at me because it takes one and a half sticks of butter for the brownies I make and I use to make them at least once a week and I would use up all the butter.
