Get ready Dolphins your coaches would like to challenge you this season! 

IM Xtreme is a program that allows USA Swimming members to track their times (or coaches to track their team's times) against swimmers all across the nation! Just by swimming a specific program of events, you can see where you rank against your teammates, your region and yes, even across the USA!

IM Ready is the little brother of IM Xtreme, tailored toward our younger swimmers. Does 200 yards seem a little much? Then start getting “IMReady” by swimming shorter distances, and keeping track of your improvements. 

During each season whenever you swim an event the time is registered on the USA swimming web site.  Different times score different “power points”. The faster the time the higher the power points are for each swimmer.  For each event (distance and stroke) swimmers are ranked locally and nationally depending on these power point scores. 

To have an IMR or IM ready score, the swimmer needs to swim all the events that are appropriate for his/her age group during each season.  

 



 

Coaches will be encouraging our swimmers to try new events and/or swim longer events. 

Once a swimmer completes a required event they will be able to track their progress on the bulletin board behind the pool.  

Swimmers completing will receive a certificate and recognition at the end of season banquet. 

 

The IM ready events are:

For 10 and under swimmers the events are:  100 free, 50 back, 50 Breast, 50 fly and 100 IM (Short course) or 200 IM (long course).

For 11-12 year olds:  200 free, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 fly and 100 IM (sc), 200 IM (lc).

For 13-18:  400 free (lc) or 500 free (sc), 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 IM.

 

The IM extreme events are:

10 and under:  200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 IM

11-12:  400 free (lc) or 500 free (sc), 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 IM.

13-18:  400 free (lc) or 500 free (sc), 200 back, 200 breast, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM.
