Illinois Swimming
Level 2

For our 2021 spring & summer sessions that begin in April and conclude at the end of July, swimmers should have previous competitive team experience (summer swim team counts!) and be at least 7 years old. Swimmers in the 7-10 year-old age groups should be capable of a legal 100 IM. Older swimmers should be capable of a legal 200 IM. Please join our waitlist by completing this brief survey.

Younger swimmers (or those who don't yet meet these requirements) should plan to attend our July evaluation. This summer evaluation is for swimmers interested in the fall/winter team that starts practice in September. Information will be posted on this page when available.

For more information, email the team registrar.

The Maverick Swim Club is a Naperville-based, USA Swimming member club that offers competitive swim team programs for Age Group and Senior swimmers from beginning to elite level competition. We do not offer swim lessons.

It is the goal of Maverick Swim Club to offer age-specific training geared towards challenging and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities. In most cases, swimmers will join Maverick after completing at least one season of recreational league swimming or other competitive swim team experience.

There are two distinct training seasons with separate registration, fees, and evaluation times. Swimmers may participate in the winter short course season, summer long course season, or both.

All potential new Maverick swimmers must attend a swimmer evaluation. Our coaching staff will evaluate to determine a swimmer's readiness for competitive club swimming. Group placement is at the discretion of our coaching staff.

For more information, please email us.

  • Potential new swimmers should complete the interest form above.

The Mission of The Maverick Swim Club is to provide the finest possible comprehensive aquatics program. Our philosophy of “children first, swimmers second” creates an atmosphere where children learn valuable life lessons from their experiences in a competitive swimming environment. We are committed to a structured, yet fun-oriented, program that provides an opportunity for swimmers to develop to their fullest potential.
