High School swimmers interested in joining Maverick for the 2023 Spring/Summer Long Course season should email the registrar for assistance.

Spring/summer training groups for all other groups (pre-high school, ages 14 & younger) are full at this time.

Swimmers who have recently moved to Naperville and are currently USA Swimming members wishing to transfer may contact the registrar for assistance at any time and may be accommodated on a space available basis.

The next opportunity for swimmers NEW to competitive swimming is the Fall/Winter Short Course Season 2023-24 (Sept '23-Feb '24). Evaluations are planned for July 12 and July 18. Swimmers will attend ONE of these dates - information about how to attend will be posted on THIS PAGE by late June. Registration for selected swimmers will follow immediately after the evaluation.

Potential NEW swimmers may find it helpful to review the Group Descriptions document below. Those swimmers who do not yet have competitive team experience are encouraged to join their local neighborhood or park district teams during summer 2023 to gain experience. This is especially helpful for swimmers age 9 and older. We do not offer a swim lessons program.

The Mission of The Maverick Swim Club is to provide the finest possible comprehensive aquatics program.

Our philosophy of “children first, swimmers second” creates an atmosphere where children learn valuable life lessons from their experiences in a competitive swimming environment. We are committed to a structured, yet fun-oriented, program that provides an opportunity for swimmers to develop to their fullest potential.

The Maverick Swim Club is a USA Swimming member club that offers competitive swim team programs for Age Group and Senior swimmers from beginning to elite level competition.

It is the goal of Maverick Swim Club to offer age-specific training geared towards challenging and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities. In most cases, swimmers will join Maverick after completing at least one season of recreational league swimming or other competitive swim team experience.

There are two training seasons with separate registration, fees, and evaluation times. Swimmers may participate in the winter short course season, summer long course season, or both.

All potential new Maverick swimmers must attend a swimmer evaluation. Our coaching staff will evaluate to determine a swimmer's readiness for competitive club swimming. Group placement is at the discretion of our coaching staff.

For more information, please email us.
