ALEC FILIPOVIC will be recognized as Illinois Swimming Male Breakthrough Athlete for 2021 this Sunday at the Illinois Swimming House of Delegates Meeting. ALEC will also be attending the National Select Camp this month. SELECTION CRITERIA for the camp will consist of 48 athletes from each competition category. SCST Swimmers JULIA FIFER, KANE KRIZ, ANGELINA MESSINA and MOLLY YETTER achieved the USA Swimming 2021 Scholastic All American Team. To be considered for this year’s team, swimmers had to have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 for the 2020-21 school year and swum a 2019 Winter Junior qualifying time in any individual event between September 1, 2020 and August 31, 2021. Congratulations to ALEC FILIPOVIC, a Junior swimmer on the St Charles Swim Team and at St Charles North High School, he has committed to swim at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. University of Texas Swimming and Diving teams compete in the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Conference where the Longhorns have won 41 consecutive conference championships (SWC and Big 12).
