How did SCST Team do with Team Goals at the Wheaton Jingle Bell Classic  -​

  • SCST will have a Team appearance; Saturday swimmers wear BLUE SC T-Shirt and on Sunday swimmers wear ORANGE SC T-Shirt. It is easy to spot SCST Swimmers in the stands when everyone is wearing the same T-Shirt.
  • SCST will sit together as a Team. One of the good things about being at FMC, sitting together in the stands.
  • SCST Swimmers will be 15 minutes early for Warm Ups and Ready to Get in 5 minutes before Warm Ups Begin. SCST is doing a great job at this.
  • SCST will have a Team Cheer at EVERY session. SCST Coaches did not hear a Team Cheer.
  • SCST swimmers will have a race plan before they get up on the blocks. Swimmers who have a plan, are having better races. Know what you are going to do before you step on the block.
  • SCST will have the best turns of ALL Teams at the meet. SCST Swimmers need to be better at making this a successful part of the race.
  • SCST will have less than 5% of our swims disqualified over the weekend. One of the best meets of the year with 4% of SCST swims disqualified. A good meet will be when SCST has no dq's.
  • SCST will have 50% improved times. SCST was close, 49% of the Teams swims were improved swims.
  • SCST will achieve more than 20 New Illinois Swimming Championship Time Standards. SCST Swimmers achieved 53 NEW Illinois Swimming Championship Time Standards and 53 NEW National Time Standards.
  • SCST will clean up the Team area after EVERY Session. Take pride in how SCST leaves our Team Area. SCST is not sloppy program and when our Team doesn't pick up our area others think we are sloppy. SCST Swimmers mentioned that our area was not taken care of, pick up our mess.

SCST TEAM GOALS for the SCST vs MAVS Dual Meet -

  • SCST will have a Team appearance. SCST Swimmers wear a Black SCST T-Shirt. There was a lot of Black shirts when swimmers were walking into the pool.
  • SCST will sit together as Team. SCST was sitting together at both sessions.
  • SCST will be early to Warm Ups. Way to go SCST! Even with a change in warm up times, everyone showed up on time.
  • SCST will have a Team Cheer before each Session. Coach Cabel was busy but he did not hear a Team Cheer.
  • SCST will be supportive of their team members and cheer for each other.  It is always fun to hear our Team cheering for each other.
  • SCST will have the best starts and turns between the two teams. SCST needs a bit more work before the end of the season.
  • SCST will swimmers have fun. It looked like SCST Swimmers were having Fun.
  • SCST will clean up the Team area. This can always be better.
  • SCST will WIN THE MEET! Session 1 SCST 513, MAVS 221; Session 2 MAVS 594, SCST 337; Combined SCST 850, MAVS 815 - It took a Team effort to win the meet.
