These are the requirements for all of our swim levels.  In addition, there is also coach's recommendation as swimmers move up in levels.
 

Blue Dolphins
This is our beginning level. 
 
Skill Requirements
25 yards of freestyle and backstroke
 
Practices
3 practices a week/ 1 hour each
 
Basic Goals
Set technique in all 4 strokes
Learn drill progression
Begin aerobic development
Improve kicking
Attend swim meets
USA Swimming Start Certification
Begin racing Skills
Perform legal 100 IM
