Tang, Kovacs highlight Jingle Bell Classic for ISC

Crystal Tang smashed two of the oldest ISC records on the books last weekend, 50 Breast (1975) and 100 Breast (1992) on her way to a 2nd runner-up high point finish. Peter Kovacs went 10 for 10 in event wins en route to the 11-12 Boys high point award.

Other highlights included:

  • Alex Eakin winning the Open Girls 1650 Free with a  time of 18:52.74
  • David Kovacs winning the Open Boys 400 IM with a time of 4:06.90
  • Ben Schroeder winning 2nd runner-up high point for the 8 & Under Boys
  • Jake Xiao winning high point runner-up for the 9-10 Boys, along with winning the 50/100 Breast and 200 IM.

The Boys Team finished 3rd in overall points while the Girls Team finished in 10th place.

This was a great meet for everyone involved with numerous best times while gaining experience swimming new events in all disciplines.

Up next will be the Winter Invite at the NAT December 9-11. We had a great signup for the meet and it should be a wonderful experience for our kids.
