Purpose

High school swimming is an important component for our ISC senior athletes. The high school season is a great time for team building, skill progression, and continued development. Within each high school program, there are a variety of athletes, some who compete year-round in swimming, some who do not.  The ISC High School Program offers all high school swimmers an opportunity to remain in the water throughout periods of the year as best meets their schedule and affords them the opportunity to enter the next high school season much better prepared to contribute to their team immediately.  The High School Program is divided into two sessions.

Session 1 – August 19th - November 8th
Session 2 – February 10th - April 4th

Senior 1 Description & Fee Schedule

Senior 1 gives each athlete the opportunity to attend up to 4 practices each week.  Workouts will focus on technique refinement and aerobic conditioning.

Athletes will pay $300 for Session 1 and $200 for Session 2 to be part of the program. In addition, there will be a $75 annual registration fee. The registration fee will cover the athlete’s USA Swimming registration, insurance, a team cap, and processing fees.  The fees are for the session, pro-rates for early disenrollment will not be granted.

Senior 2 Description & Fee Schedule

Senior 2 gives each athlete the opportunity to attend up to 9 practices each week including dryland/strenth training sessions.  Workouts will focus on technique refinement, aerobic conditioning, endurance, dryland, and strength training.

Athletes will pay $495 for Session 1 and $330 for Session 2 to be part of the program. In addition, there will be a $75 annual registration fee. The registration fee will cover the athlete’s USA Swimming registration, insurance, a team cap, and processing fees.  The fees are for the session, pro-rates early disenrollment will not be granted.

Optional Meet Component

Our High School Program athletes will have the opportunity to compete in up to 2 ISC-hosted meets each year included in their membership. If an athlete chooses to participate in Non-ISC hosted meets, including championship meets a $50 fee for an upgraded USA Swimming Membership will be due.  While competitions are not required, athletes choosing to compete will swim for ISC. In addition, those choosing to compete in ISC-hosted meets will have a family event support requirement. Families will be required to provide event support for 1 position for each session in which the swimmer competes.

*Athlete's registered for Session 1 that have a championship cut but don't want to practice throughout Session 2 can attend Session 2 from the time their school season is over until their Championship Meet.  The fee for this option is $100.
