Coach Jeff LeBeau to Become Associate Head Coach of Newburgh Sea Creatures

JODY MADEIRA

We would like to send our gratitude and best wishes to Coach Jeff LeBeau, who has been a respected coach and mentor with our club for 24 years. At the end of this month, Coach Jeff will be relocating to southern Indiana to take up a position as Associate Head Coach with the Newburgh Sea Creatures, so that he can accompany his wife in her job relocation to Evansville, IN. His last day with ISC will be Friday, March 27th.

The ISC Board is deeply grateful to Coach Jeff for his dedication to our kids, his knowledge of and love for the sport of swimming, and his professionalism and collegiality. We will miss his steady presence on deck and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We profoundly regret that these unusual circumstances prevent us from gathering together as a club to commemorate Coach Jeff’s service to the club and his swimmers, and hope to find an opportunity to do so in the future.

We are also thankful that Coach Curtis Goss has agreed to step forward as Interim Head Coach until a permanent Head Coach is hired. The ISC Board is hard at work at that task. We anticipate no interruptions in ISC programming due to this transition in coaching leadership, and anticipate starting Long Course season and hosting the ISC Cutter Classic Invitational from June 26th-28th.
