Elkhart United Aquatics Mission Statement

To use the sport of swimming to build character, leadership and discipline into the youth of the Elkhart community.

About Elkhart United Aquatics

Blue Wave Aquatic Club (BWAC) was founded in April 2010 by Elkhart Central swim coaches Ryan Bounds and Kyle Hembree as a way to prepare swimmers in the Elkhart community for High School and Collegiate swimming. BWAC was created to develop tomorrow's champions, and allow the high school program to compete on a state championship level.  In August 2013 the Board of Directors voted to change the name of Blue Wave Aquatics to Elkhart United Aquatics to encourage swimmers from all of Elkhart County to enjoy the sport of swimming.

We pride ourselves in teaching each athlete that comes in the door exceptional swimming technique as well as team leadership and self esteem skills.  We believe that family and school come first. Swimmers learn how to build their own drive to perform at their very best. Their drive, goal setting, and individual accountability propel our swimmers to acheive great accomplishments individually and as a team.

Elkhart United tis home to multiple Age Group State Champions, 2X Team Conference Champions, & many Top 20 finishes in State Meets.

Elkhart United is governed by a board of parent volunteers as well as a club director. Please feel free to contact a board member or one of the coaches (all are listed under the coaches tab on the HOME page) for more information on Elkhart United Aquatics.
