CENTER GROVE AQUATIC CLUB: SWIM PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES AND ABILITIES

SHORT COURSE REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Click on the registration button below to get registered!

In order to give our families enough time to register, we will offically begin age group practices on Wednesday, September 23rd at your swimmer's designated time.

Senior team swimmers, your schedule will remain the same.

Pre-Senior swimmers will follow the 5:00pm-6:30pm schedule for all members on Monday and Tuesday, and switch to the schedule listed in the Return to Pool plan on Wednesday.

ALL OTHER SWIMMERS will begin on WEDNESDAY if they are scheduled to have practice on that day.

Swimmers NEW to CGAC:

Evaluation nights will be September 29th/30th and October 6th from 5:30pm-7:00pm and October 7th from 5:00pm - 6:15pm. Evaluations will be held in 15 minute increments. You will need to register for a time slot! There wil be NO walk-in evaluations.

SIgn-ups for new swimmer evaluations will be posted soon as well as guidelines and safety protocols for those evaluation nights.

If you have any problems with registration, please email webadmin@cgacswim.org.

Thank you to the CGAC coaching staff and board members that have worked with the Center Grove Community School Corporation, the high school administration and athletic department to come up with a plan to safely return our swimmers to the water!

As a reminder: PLEASE READ YOUR EMAILS!!!

There is a lot of information regarding your swimmers return to the water.  Please take the time to thoroughly read through all of the information to understand the expectations and protocols for you and your swimmer(s).

FALL/WINTER SWIM LESSONS and SHARKS & MINNOWS

Unfortunatley, at this time, we are unable to hold swim lessons and the Sharks & Minnows program.  We hope to be able to hold these programs again in the near future.

The CGAC board and coaching staff thanks all of you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.  Be safe and stay well.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT UPDATES BELOW!!!

From the event Facebook page:

Due to Gov. Holcomb’s executive order, Rock the Block Run can not take place on June 27. We have been working with the Center Grove School Corporation for an alternative date in late July 2020. However, with so many constantly changing variables, we’ve made the decision to postpone our event until Saturday, April 24, 2021.

To stay true to our mission, which is to give back proceeds to the organizations who participate, we will “freeze” runner, volunteer registrations and sponsorships. This will be the most equitable and cost-effective way for RTBR to persevere and be ready to ROCK IT in 2021.

Planning for this event begins six months prior to the event date, and RTBR has incurred costs in 2020 we will not be able to recoup (ie. mailing, promotions-related expense, website hosting, etc.). Should you have extenuating circumstances and are unable to participate next year, and do not want to “donate” your registration, please contact Erin Smith at info@rocktheblockrun.org no later than 5 p.m. June 6, 2020.

We wish everyone a healthy and safe rest of 2020. Watch social media and your email. We will begin preparing for next year’s event in November 2020. https://www.rocktheblockrun.org/

2020 BURN THE CORK HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FROM THE ORGANIZERS FACEBOOK PAGE:

Hello Burn the Cork Friends! #burnthecork2020 planners wanted to put out a quick update on this years event... Due to the CoVid-19 public health pandemic and the State’s shut down and now reopen sequence, Burn the Cork’s date of 6/19/2020, falls within these restrictions. Regrettably, it’s been decided that the best decision for the future of Burn the Cork is to cancel the 7th annual event for 2020 and reschedule in 2021.
Event planners are still working through the details of this decision and will post updates as developments come into focus. We will be reaching out to all sponsors and ticket holders to review options. We are truly sorry this had to be done, however, bringing everyone together for great live music, delicious Mallow Run Wine, and family fun all while raising money for youth based charities is our mission... we must be respectful of the State’s guidance and the overall health and well-being of our attendees and supporters!
Thank you to our Sponors and supporters! Everyone, please remember to shop local and support the small businesses that fuel our local economy and make events like Burn the Cork possible!
Be safe and best regards! Burn the Cork 2020 (Asterix *2021) Organizers.
