Short Course Registration

Short course registration and evaluation nights for current and new swimmers is TENATIVELY set for the evenings of September 2 - 3 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The current date set for the first day of short course practice is September 8th.

***PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE DATES ARE FLUID AND AS CHANGES SOME FROM THE STATE, IN SWIMMING AND CGCSC POLICIES THESE DATES MAY CHANGE OR CANCEL***

MEETS AND MEET SCHEDULES: At this time short course meets and schedules have not been posted. The meet schedule is pending on Indiana Swimming.

FALL/WINTER SWIM LESSONS and SHARKS & MINNOWS

Due to the uncertainty of this time, all swim lessons and Sharks & Minnows programs are on hold until further notice. 

 

The CGAC board thanks all of you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Please know that we will continue to communicate information as we can once we have it to share. Be safe and stay well.

 

2020 SPRING SWIM LESSONS CANCELLED

Due to the Department of Education mandate that all school facilities remain closed through June 30th, we will not have our summer swim lesson program. We hope to resume lessons in the fall. Thank you for your understanding!

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT UPDATES BELOW!!!

Due to Gov. Holcomb’s executive order, Rock the Block Run can not take place on June 27. We have been working with the Center Grove School Corporation for an alternative date in late July 2020. However, with so many constantly changing variables, we’ve made the decision to postpone our event until Saturday, April 24, 2021.

To stay true to our mission, which is to give back proceeds to the organizations who participate, we will “freeze” runner, volunteer registrations and sponsorships. This will be the most equitable and cost-effective way for RTBR to persevere and be ready to ROCK IT in 2021.

Planning for this event begins six months prior to the event date, and RTBR has incurred costs in 2020 we will not be able to recoup (ie. mailing, promotions-related expense, website hosting, etc.). Should you have extenuating circumstances and are unable to participate next year, and do not want to “donate” your registration, please contact Erin Smith at info@rocktheblockrun.org no later than 5 p.m. June 6, 2020.

2020 BURN THE CORK HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING FROM THE ORGANIZERS FACEBOOK PAGE:

Hello Burn the Cork Friends! #burnthecork2020 planners wanted to put out a quick update on this years event... Due to the CoVid-19 public health pandemic and the State’s shut down and now reopen sequence, Burn the Cork’s date of 6/19/2020, falls within these restrictions. Regrettably, it’s been decided that the best decision for the future of Burn the Cork is to cancel the 7th annual event for 2020 and reschedule in 2021.
Event planners are still working through the details of this decision and will post updates as developments come into focus. We will be reaching out to all sponsors and ticket holders to review options. We are truly sorry this had to be done, however, bringing everyone together for great live music, delicious Mallow Run Wine, and family fun all while raising money for youth based charities is our mission... we must be respectful of the State’s guidance and the overall health and well-being of our attendees and supporters!
