New Info

From Coach Amy:

Happy last week of school CGAC families! Here are the things you need to know this week:

1.) Fishers FAST 500: Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed in the FAST 500 this past weekend! CGAC swimmers had a GREAT showing, with the majority of  our swimmers posting best times in more than 3 events. There were several new divisional and state cuts made. A special congratulations to first time state qualifier Brianna Henselmeier  who earned her first state cuts in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes!

2.) SSC Summer Sizzler: Initial entries have been sent and received by SSC. They will let us know by midnight Tuesday if our team has been accepted into the meet. Once our acceptance is confirmed, I will send out the initial entries for your review.

3.) Tennessee Excel Firecracker Invite: The RSVP deadline for the Excel Firecracker Invite is May 26th. This is our summer travel meet to Brentwood, Tennessee, Excel Aquatics June 21-23. Once the RSVP closes I will not be able to add swimmers, as we begin planning our team activities for the weekend. Please see your swimmer's coach if you have any questions.

4.) Jaguar Aquatics Summer Invitational Meet: For those of you who are unable to attend the travel meet to TN, we will be offering the opportunity to attend the Jags Summer Invitational at the IUPUI Natatorium June 28-30. This meet will only be open to those who are NOT attending the TN travel meet. The RSVP for this meet is open and will close at 8am on May 26.

5.) Memorial Day Practices: The Senior Team will practice 7-9am Memorial Day. There will be NO AGE GROUP TEAM PRACTICE (White, Red, Black, Pre-Senior Teams).

6.) Summer Schedules:  The CG site summer schedules will remain the same for White, Red and Black teams. The Senior Team summer schedule has been emailed. Please see Coach Todd if you have any questions. The Pre-Senior Team summer schedule will be emailed shortly after we finalize  a few details. UIndy and Mooresville sites: Please see you coaches for any summer schedule changes.

7.) Parking: Starting June 3rd, swimmers will have to be dropped off and picked-up at door 6 (by the Student Activity Center) due to construction at the Hall of Excellence entrance.

8.) USA Swimming Safe Sport: Due to recent changes in USA Swimming's Safe Sport policies, all adult athletes, athletes  18 and over, MUST complete the USA Swimming's Athlete Protection Training. A more detailed email will be sent out separately.

As always, please see your swimmer's coach if you have any questions. Have a great week and see you at the pool!
