Hello CGAC Families!  Here are the things you need to know for the week of 10/8/19:

From the CGAC Board of Directors and Coordinators: We would like to welcome Connie Poston to the Board.  Connie is our new Team Apparel Coordinator. She will open the Team Store two days a week starting the week of October 21st. We will update everyone with a set schedule in the coming weeks.

Pike and SSC Meet Recap: Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed in either the Pike or SSC meet this past week! It was a great start to our season and we are excited for the upcoming Noblesville and Greenwood meets. 

Senior Team Practice Change (CGAC Site): There will be a MORNING Practice this Friday, October 11 and NO practice in the AFTERNOON. Also, there will be NO MORNING practice for the Senior Team on Monday, October 21st due to super chlorination.

CG Site Fall Break Practices: Senior and Pre-Senior Swimmers will practice Monday-Wednesday (October 14-16) from 3-5pm, White, Red and Black will practice at their regularly scheduled times Monday-Wednesday (October 14-16). 

Noblesville Ice Breaker Meet: Entries have been sent in. Once I have confirmation, I will send out the entries for your review. Reminder, this meet is open to Pre-Senior and Senior swimmers ONLY. Black team members will only be entered if they are ineligible to compete in the Greenwood meet. Click HERE for the meet packet.

Greenwood Fall Frenzy Meet: This meet is open to all White, Red and Black team swimmers. Entries will be sent out for review once we get confirmation. Click HERE for the meet packet.

CGAC Jingle Bell Meet: Registration Deadline is November 10th at 8 AM. This is our first home meet of the short course season. Swimmers on  ALL TEAMS are encouraged to participate. This meet is a fun meet and a great opportunity for those swimmers that are newer to competitive swimming and swim meets. If you have any questions about whether your swimmer is ready to compete, please ask your swimmer's coach. When registering please ensure in the comments section you designate which days your swimmer will compete. The Jingle Bell meet will be held  November 22 - 24.High School Senior Team Club Swimmers: Please check with Coach Todd, Coach Hite or Coach Trammell to see if you are eligible to swim in this home meet per IHSAA Swimming & Diving rules.

From our Meet Coordinator:

Club credits have been updated for the Councilman Classic and new member meeting.  Please log in to your account and make sure that credits have been added correctly 

The Swim 101 Meeting will be Wednesday October 23 from 5:30 - 6:30. We will go over club credit requirements and how to sign up to volunteer.  Please meet in the pool on the red bleachers and a board member will take you as a group to the meeting.

I will open up time spots for the Jingle Bell Meet on Monday October 28 at 8pm.  We will limit this meet to 3 spots per family initially.  

 Once all spots are filled, the option to donate a gift card will be available. Only one gift card can be used this season to fill one volunteer credit.

Ongoing Updates & Reminders

Club FaceBook Page (ALL SITES): If you have not already done so, please request to be added to our closed FB Group Center Grove Aquatics Club-Official-Parents/Guardians. We will use this to send out any updated practice or meet information. In order to be accepted, you must answer BOTH questions: Who is your swimmer? and What team were they assigned to?  This is to ensure that it is only our swim families who have access to the group. 

Registration: If you have not yet registered, you must do so IMMEDIATELY in order for your swimmers to be able to both attend practice and meets. If you are having difficulty with registering, please contact our web admin/registration coordinator Kathryn Adams
