Nicole Vivona, Challenge Coach

Nicole grew up in Colorado. She went to college in a small town in Idaho, which is also where I ended up meeting my husband.

I graduated in 2013 with my bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies. My husband graduatedin 2016 which, after graduating, brought us to Indiana where he grew up. Shortly after moving back, he got a job with Cummins which brought us here to Columbus.

I’ve loved the water since a very young age but didn't start swimming on a team until I was 10 years old. At the age of 10, I joined a summer league and swam with them for 8 years as well as 4 years on my high school’s team. I swam, coached, became a meet manager, and eventuallya coordinator for the whole swimming program. I was also a lifeguard and swim instructor for 5 years.

Over the years, swimming has brought me so much joy. I am very excited to be around the water and, more especially, coaching for Donner!
