Donner Swim Club is a community-focused club that fosters an environment of success as an athlete and as a person. Our mission is tcreate a safe and fun environment that teaches community youth excellence in all areas of life through the sport of swimming. We believe our core values of team, excellence, hard work, and courage teaches swimmers to confront challenges, accept the responsibility for success, and helps develop self-confidence, leadership, and respect for others.

To assist your swimmer in skill development, Donner Swim Club has divided our training into four separate groups and sub groups. Our Senior group is for those swimmers, ages 12-22, who have been swimming for some time and are able to compete in all four strokes. This group is divided into three sub-groups. The Senior High School sub-group is for swimmers who are presently enrolled in grades 9-12 in any of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation schools and is designed to prepare them for the High School and USA Swimming state and regional levels of competition. Senior Non-High School is for swimmers who are striving to compete in the USA Swimming state and regional levels of competitionare. This sub-group is for swimmers in grades 7-8 in the BCSC schools, or for any student in grades 7-12 in a home school setting. The Senior Pre-High School sub-group is for any swimmer in grades 9-12 who has not previously been a part of Donner Swim Club in any capacity, is swimming for the first time for an organized team, and is going to swim for their high school swim team.

The Challenge group is for swimmers, ages 10-15, who are working on mastering the skills needed to be a competitive swimmer. This is designed to prepare swimmers for State and Zone levels of competition. The Imagination group helps swimmers in ages from 6-14 develop strong technical skills with great emphasis placed on teamwork and having fun swimming. Learning to be proficient in all four strokes, as well as learning starts and turns enables the Imagination swimmer to be more competitive in meets. The Discovery group is an entry-level developing group for swimmers ages 5-12 and is divided into three sub-groups (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3). Swimmers in this group will be placed according to their skill level and focus on developing fundamental skill techniques, learning the basics of swimming safety, forming team bonds, and having fun. All Level 3 swimmers will be ready to swim in any meet.

Aside from the four swim skill groups, Donner Swim Club offers a Learn-to-Swim program that is for those swimmers, ages 4-10, who are learning to swim for the first time. Lessons are designed to have one-on-one instruction and introduce the basics of swimming and water safety.

We look forward to having you join the Donner Swim Club and are excited for another great season!
