Long course season kicked off May 4th with the WAC Pentathlon meet at Warren High School. The pentathlon format encourages each swimmer to swim five events per day and demonstrate their ability to swim all four strokes. Swim Families: We’ve spent the last couple of weeks getting back in the groove after Spring Break. Unfortunately, one week off turned into two with the upgrades to the locker rooms. The painting and stall doors look great and there will be more work in the coming weeks on the showers as well. Congratulations to Aidan Kingery for representing HAT at the 2019 Indiana Age Group State swim meet. Aidan competed in both the Boys 11-12 100 Yard Breast and the 50 Yard Breast. Though he didn't qualify for finals, it was an outstanding experience, capping off a fantastic season for this young man.  Congrats, Aidan, we're all very proud of you!!!

It was a tremendously successful weekend in the pool as 28 athletes represented HAT at the 2019 SE Indiana Divisional Championship. Just one year ago, only 10 athletes from HAT competed in this same meet...what a great year of growth!!! Aidan Kingery lead the charge, earning two first-place finishes in the 12&U 50 Yard Breast and the 100 Breast respectively.
