Welcome to the Lawrence County Aquatics Learn to Swim Program!

This electronic registration process is simple for both new and returning families.  You'll get access to your own private account to view/edit your contact information as well as current and past class histories.  To Register:

1)  Select/click on the desired Session below (Grey bars/blue letters below).

2)  Click on the GREEN Register button to begin the registration process.

3)  Repeat the process to add multiple students into the same registration/shopping cart.

LCA March/April Lessons

Our program is designed to:

1) Improve your child's swimming ability.

2) Increase your child's confidence and independence in the water.

3) Alert your child to safety issues in aquatic environments.

4) Prepare your child for entry into the world of competitive swimming.

*Classes are appropriate for swimmers age 4 and older.

Our program is divided into three skill groups:

Level 1 Goals: Improve a child?s comfort in and around water. This includes blowing bubbles in the water, submerging face, supported kick and supported arm motions, treading water and floating on back and front.

Level 2 Goals: Learning to submerge and retrieve an object, front crawl for 10 yards, basic arm motions, streamline kick, backstroke arms, intro to side breathing and seated dives.

Level 3 Goals: Mastery of front crawl with side breathing, drills allowing for fine tuning of back stroke and front crawl, streamline push offs, head first diving, swim 25 yards of front crawl and backstroke without stopping.
