NACS Swimmers&Coach Going to Olympic Training Center

Indiana Swimming has selected it's OTC (Olympic Training Center) All-Star Training Camp for this Summer and our NACS Club will have some members on this team.   Blaine Nichols and Grant Music were selected and Coach John Gibson was selected to be on the Coaching Staff.   The members of this camp/team were selected from the top 25 females and the top 25 males 18&under ages in Indiana.   This is quite an honor for our swimmers, as they will get to train & learn with and from some of the best swimmers and coaches in Indiana.   Some of the goals of this camp are to take some of the most promising swimmers in Indiana and provide them with the opportunity of learning about intense training, stroke technique, nutrition, goals, team bonding, team travel, training at altitude, etc. in order to show them what it takes to take their swimming to the highest level possible.   The camp runs June 14-June 20 out in Colorado Springs, CO.   The picture shown was taken at a "pre-camp" training day in Indianapolis a few weeks ago.   Back Row, Left to Right:  Coach John Gibson-Grant Music-Blaine Nichols.
