Coaches Comments:

Coach Ben Moore (Swells):

The Swells had 5 swimmers compete at the ACST fall classic. It was the first age group meet for Lainey Johnson and Eli Eash, both did an incredible job!  Reagan Walters added new events to her schedule as did Olivia Moore. Both saw significant time drops. Aubrie Keating competed and earned a divisional cut in the 50 free!

Coach Lise Moore (Breakers):

The Breakers had a total of 7 swimmers participate which included Elise Ponder and Reese Short who competed in their first age group meet. The Breakers had lots of amazing time drops and Maddie Moore qualified for Divisionals in 7 events.

Coach Tice (Tidals):

The Tidals put up impressive results at the ACST Fall Classic this weekend!  Payton, Marina, Mya, Lexi, Ali and Norah all had major time drops, with Ali dropping time in each one of her events!  Special shout out to Lexi who dropped over 30 seconds in her 200 IM! Great work! Jaxon Russel also earned a special shout out with his 7, first place finishes.  Jaxon finished out the meet as the High Point runner up, missing the first place spot by only 2 points! The Tidals earned a total of 437 points for PCA. I am looking forward to watching this talented group of kids grow and improve throughout the season!

 Coach Woodruff (Tsunamis):

The Tsunamis really got after it in their first meet of the season and they represented PCA with 100% attendance!  Talan, Sophia, Maddie, Brecken, Averie, and Taylor all dropped time in a total of 23 individual events and they collectively scored 197 points for the team!  Special shout out to Averie for her 7, first place finishes! Every one of these individuals set a high standard for sportsmanship and displayed responsible leadership with our new/younger athletes!

Coach Johnson (Seniors):

The senior group approached the ACST Fall Classic as an opportunity to “condition” races. The

first week of October generally does not turn out really fast swimming at the senior level,

however we did have a few bright spots at the meet. On the girls side, Nicole Abell and Hallie

Meier turned in impressive performances, each winning at least one event in their age group

and posting multiple top 3 finishes. For the boys, Dane Market was able to win an event and

placed in the top 2 in multiple other events. Maquinzie Phillips, Xander Straw, Caleb Beal and

Zeke Abner all threw down some major time drops. I am looking forward to continuing to

improve as we progress through our next training cycle!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PCA’s coaches couldn’t be more proud of our athletes and their efforts displayed this weekend!  Way to go PCA!

Now, we have our sights set on the THT Halloween Splash, October 25th-27th!  We will arrive ready to compete and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
