Thank you for registering your swimmers for the 2022-2023 season with SBSC! The team registration you completed is one part of the process. The USA Swimming membership must be purchased directly through USA Swimming, which is a new process that just started on September 1. Below are the 3 steps to completing the registration, starting with creating a new account with USA Swimming (must be done for everyone, even if you had an old Deck Pass account) and then moving to registering your swimmer (you will not be able to register them through your SWIMS account created in Step 1 without the link in Step 2), and ending with creating a login for your swimmer (optional, must be at least 8 years old to have their own log in).

 

Step 1: Create a new parent account

  1. Go to hub.usaswimming.org/landing   

    1. If you have never been a member of USA Swimming (Coach, official, board member, etc), please follow the instructions in this short video

    2. If you have been a member of USA Swimming (Coach, official, board member, etc.) please follow the instructions in this short video. If you are unable to retrieve your new USA ID number, please contact me at [email protected]

Step 2: Register your swimmer(s)

  1. Follow this link to our team online member registration, OMR. This registration will be for Premium memberships only. If you will be registering your swimmer with the Outreach membership (this is for our athletes who qualify for free/reduced lunch), please click here for that OMR link

  2. If you are not already logged in, log in with the username and password you created in Step 1.

  3. Click CONTINUE

  4. To register your swimmer(s), select “The membership is for someone other than the logged-in user.”

  5. If your swimmer has been registered with USA Swimming in the past, click on the toggle button to mark YES and you will be prompted to Renew Member. If your swimmer is new to USA Swimming, click the toggle button twice to NO and you will be prompted with New Member. Click the image to continue to step 5a (renewing) or 6, new member.

    1. If renewing a member, you will be prompted to input their first and last name and birthdate. Click Search for Member and the swimmer’s member record should populate.Click on the name and continue the process.

  6. Complete the registration fields, making sure that all fields are completed and correct

      1. Premium - Full membership for swimmers of any age (required membership for those swimmers 13 and older) with no restriction on the number or types of meets the swimmer can participate in.

      2. Outreach - Only available for swimmers who qualify for free/reduced lunch programs.

  7. You will then be taken to a summary of the charges for your transaction. At this point you can add another swimmer with the ADD ANOTHER MEMBER button at the top left of the screen. If you are adding another member, you will complete the above steps again. Once you have all members added, you will be taken to your “Shopping Cart” and can check out.

  8. Input your credit card or bank account information and click PROCESS PAYMENT

  9. Click RETURN and you will be taken to your Member Dashboard in your new account. Swimmers that you registered will show up in the “My Family” section.

 

Step 3: Creating a log-in for swimmers 8 years old and older.
