Matt Jeffries Head Coach & Gold Coach
Matt is a graduate of Perry Meridian High School. During his time at Perry, he set four school records (two of which still stand 15 years later!) and achieved a state championship title in breaststroke.  Matt swam for The Ohio State University where he was a four-year varsity swimmer and maintained a high ranking in the nation for breaststroke.  Matt has been the Head Coach of SIA and Gold Group since 2011. He is also the Southport High School Mens' and Womens' Swim coach. He is an ASCA Level 2 Coach. Matt enjoys applying his knowledge from OSU and Perry to teach swimmers to excel in all swimming events.   Matt has been married to his wife Jenna since 2006 and they have three children Leo, Eva, & Mia
Lauren Cox Silver Coach
Coach Lauren has been with SIA since 2018. She graduated from Roncalli High School, where she swam all 4 years. While in high school, she taught swim lessons at IUPUI and Carefree. She transitioned to coaching in 2008, and has coached for Warsaw Community High School, Roncalli High School, and JAGS prior to SIA. She is also currently the head coach for Perry Meridian High School. She has coached swimmers of all ages and abilities, including state and zone qualifiers. She graduated from IUPUI as a super senior with a degree in Health Information Administration. Lauren is married and has three children.
Emily Metheny Bronze Coach

Emily has been swimming since she was nine when she first joined the LaPorte Turbos Swim Club in La Porte, Indiana. She continued to swim for La Porte High School where she named an Academic All-American her senior year. Thanks to her coaches, Emily fell in love with the sport and began coaching for her club team while teaching swim lessons in the summer. Emily joined the first recruiting class for Franklin College swimming in 2011 and swam distance freestyle and the 200 fly for the Grizzlies. During the spring, she taught lessons for Franklin Parks and Rec until she went home for the summer and coached for Turbos. After college, Emily coached three seasons for Whiteland Hypersonics Swimming, and she began as the Copper Coach with SIA in 2017. Emily married her high school sweetheart Anthony in October 2016.
