4 COMPETITIVE SWIM GROUPS FOR AGES 5 & UP

SWIMMERS WILL BE EVALUATED FOR PLACEMENT IN EACH LEVEL BASED ON AGE, SWIMMING ENDURANCE, AND SKILL LEVEL

GOLD

ADVANCED / ELITE SWIMMERS
MUST BE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL
Must be able to handle 2 hour practices
Know all four strokes/starts/turns/finishes

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, race strategies, and competition achievements. Athletes in this group are focusing on High School swimming performance as well as qualifying and scoring at Championship meets. Middle School athletes wishing to swim in this group must demonstrate maturity at practices. Gold athletes are expected to serve as role models and mentors to the younger athletes on the team.

BLACK

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED SWIMMERS
MUST BE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Must be able to handle 2 hour practices

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, enjoyment, and achievement in practice and competition. Athletes must demonstrate proficiency in all 4 strokes and all swimming skills before moving to this group. Athletes in this group are preparing for High School Swimming and concentrating on Divisionals.

BLUE
INTERMEDIATE
9 AND OVER

Must be able to handle 1.5 hour practices

Practices emphasizing skills, technique, and fun. This group is for athletes that have a foundation in all 4 strokes and are ready to begin learning advanced skills.

WHITE
BEGINNING
8 & UNDER OR BEGINNERS

Must be able to swim length of pool Freestyle

Practices emphasizing fun and technique. This group is designed for those new to the sport.
