ALL swimmers must be masked at all times while at practice and meets, except while in the water. Coaches must be masked at all times. Coaches may remove the mask to give instruction to the swimmers, but must be 6 feet apart. If face to face conversation is needed, the coach should wear their mask.

Exposure to COVID-19:

* Exposure is defined as: unmasked within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more.

*If a swimmer has a known, unmasked exposure and is unvaccinated, they must be quarantined from swim practice or meets for 5 days from the date of exposure. At day 6 they must produce a negative COVID test to return ( PCR or rapid test). If they do not produce a negative test, the quarantine for a total of 10 days.

*If a swimmer has a known, unmasked exposure but is vaccinated, monitor for symptoms but do not need to quarantine. Continue to mask at all times except while in the water.

* If a swimmer was masked when exposed and is vaccinated or not vaccinated, he or she does not need to quarantine.

*If a coach has a known unmasked exposure and is unvaccinated, they must quarantine from swim practice or meets for 5 days from the date of exposure. At day 6 may produce a negative test to return. If vaccinated, monitor for symptoms but do not need to quarantine and continue to mask at all times.

Tested Positive for COVID-19:

*If a swimmer tests positive, they must be quarantine for 10 days from onset of symptoms. Our swimmers are unable to mask in the water on day 5, so we have to keep this at 10 days.

* If a coach tests positive, they must be quarantined for 5 days and may return on day 6 (if asymptomatic) and must wear a mask at all times.

* Parents, please notify me if your child has been exposed, or has tested positive so I can contract trace.
