FAST Mudsock Invite – After a long break from competition and some great training over the holidays, WTSC will be back in action this weekend at the FAST Mudsock Invitational (January 17-19 @ Fishers HS). A larger informational email about this event went out earlier today to all participating families. Please speak with your group coach if you have questions about this event and good luck this weekend in Fishers. Have fun, swim fast and GO WTSC!

Congratulations – WTSC swimmers Emily Buening and Colin Parker were at the forefront of an impressive effort by Team Indiana at the Mid States Championships that resulted in Team Indiana defending their Mid States title and winning the meet for the 19th time in the past 20 years. Emily finished fourth in the 1650 Freestyle and eighth in the 200 IM, and Colin swam on a pair of winning relays including a 200 Freestyle Relay team that set a new meet record. He was also the individual runner-up in the 50 Freestyle and finished third in the 100 Freestyle. Congratulations to Colin and Emily and all members of Team Indiana on their winning performance.

WTSC Groundhog Invite – The new year brings many new opportunities including hosting another outstanding WTSC event, the upcoming Groundhog Invitational (January 31-February 2 @ NCHS). This meet is shaping up to have a competitive field and we are looking forward to seeing our swimmers in action and once again, we will need our awesome families and workers to help make it happen. Job signups are now open for this event. Please click the “Job Signup” button on the meet page on our website to see which shifts are available. This event is subject to the worker requirements described in your registration packet. Please speak with WTSC Business Manager Jennifer Buddenbaum if you have questions about the worker requirements. Entries for this meet are now closed and are available online and at the pool for your review. Please speak with your group coach if you have questions about entries. Thank you for your continued support of WTSC and get read for another great weekend of racing and hosting.
