BBSC Circle City Classic – Good luck to our swimmers competing this weekend at the BBSC Circle City Classic. After a strong showing in Fishers two weeks ago we are excited to see what the kids can do in Brownsburg. An informational email was sent to all participating families with a variety of important things related to the meet. Please review these items closely and check the meet page on our website for links and other information. Have fun, swim fast and GO WTSC!

February Practice Schedule – A February practice schedule has been posted on the “Practice Schedule” tab of our website. All dates and times are subject to change based on weather, public health conditions and other factors. There are two North Central home meets next week – Tuesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 4 – and there will be no practice on these dates. Any additional changes to the schedule will be communicated ASAP. Please follow the posted document carefully.

North Central Protocols – It is great to be back on familiar ground and swim in our home pool again. We will continue to follow our established safety protocols for all practices at North Central. A few points of emphasis are as follows:

  • All swimmers should come and go from NC via Door 24, which is the main athletics entrance.
  • No swimmer should be dropped off more than 10 minutes before the start of their practice or picked up any later than 10 minutes after their practice. Please be prompt in picking up your swimmers.
  • Only swimmers, coaches and lifeguards are allowed in the building at this time.
  • Swimmers must wear a mask at all times when not in the pool.
  • Swimmers should come and go from the pool in their swimsuits. Locker rooms are available for restroom purposes only.
  • All drinking fountains at NC are turned off. Swimmers should bring their own water bottles and not share water bottles with teammates.

The use of any facility is dictated by the current public health conditions and specifically for us, the Marion County Health Department. Any changes to the practice schedule for any reason will be communicated ASAP. The WTSC Board of Directors and coaching staff offers our sincere gratitude and appreciation for sticking with us through these many months of alternative practice arrangements. Thank you for your support of our team.

LST Day of Power – Right around the corner from the Championship Season, the LST Day of Power (February 21 @ Lawrence North HS) will serve as the final meet of the season for all non-championship qualifiers and will be used as a last chance meet for swimmers looking to make Divisional and State cuts. This meet is appropriate for all eligible Senior, Red and Black swimmers. Swimmers who have already achieved Divisional and/or State cuts should check with their group coach before committing. Yes/no signups for this event are now open on the meet page on our website. More information about this event will be available closer to the date.

Kroger Rewards Program – Thank you to our WTSC families who have participated in the Kroger Community Rewards program and if you have yet to sign up, please consider doing so. It is as simple as can be: Buy groceries and help support our team. To use the program, visit Kroger.com and login into your Kroger account or setup a new one. Once logged in, search for WT SWIM CLUB or the code CN087 and click “Enroll.” New users will need to create an account which includes some basic personal information, a valid email address and a rewards card. Customers must have a valid rewards card to link to the program, which can be picked up at the customer service counter at any Kroger. A valid rewards card must be swiped, or phone number associated with the Kroger account must be used for purchases to count towards the Kroger Community Rewards Program.

Amazon Smile – WTSC is also setup as part of the Amazon Smile program. This simple program allows you to support WTSC and your favorite charities while purchasing items via your Amazon accounts. Click HERE for more information on the program or speak with WTSC Business Manager Jennifer Buddenbaum if you have questions.
