Full Team Friday – This is a friendly reminder that we will have our first “Full Team Friday” practice tonight from 6-7pm. This practice is open to any Senior, Gold, Silver and Bronze swimmers that would like to attend and will focus on some extra work on starts, turns and finishes. We hope to see a big crowd tonight!

Schedule Change – There will be no morning practice for the Gold Group on Monday, November 15. We want to give our swimmers a little extra sleep before a big weekend next weekend at our own Holiday Champs meet (see below).

Holiday Champs – It is almost time for one of the premiere age group meets in the Midwest, our own Holiday Champs Invitational (November 19-21 @ North Central HS). We are welcoming a packed field of fast teams from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Michigan for a weekend of prelims/finals racing. Thank you to all WTSC families who have filled their shifts for this event. WTSC has a sterling reputation as an event host and that is thanks to you, our parents and families. Job assignments and updated entries are available online for review and entries have also been posted at the pool. If you have questions about your shifts or worker assignments, please speak with WTSC Business Manager Julie Spicer. If you have questions about events, please speak with your group coach. Get ready for another great weekend of WTSC hosting and racing!

Corrections – There were a pair of omissions on our first Honor Roll of the season that came out last week. First, congratulations to Lillian Tabor, who made a new Divisional cut in the 400 IM at the PIKE Fall Invitational. Second, congratulations to Santiago Cutchin, who added his name to the Honor Roll with Divisional cuts in the 50 & 100 Freestyle at the RIVI Fall Invitational.

Congratulations – The following swimmers were chosen as Swimmers of the Month for October by their coaches: Aiko Walls (Bronze), Molly Memmer (Silver), Katie Countryman (Gold), Sam Wolfe (Senior). Way to go swimmers and keep up the great work.

Thank You – It was great to see such a big crowd – approximately 100 swimmers and family members – at our fall barn party last weekend. It had been a long time since we were able to gather together and have some fun away from the pool and it was a great night for WTSC. Thank you for participating in the event.
