The Wa-Nee Waves Swim Team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Wa-Nee Waves Swim Team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Summer WWST Groups:

 

Red Group

The Red Group is our beginner group for new swimmers.  Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards, fully submerge, float, and demonstrate basic front crawl and backstroke.  Practices are 30 minutes long and held 2 times per week.

 

White Group

The White Group is our intermediate group for swimmers that have a basic knowledge of the four strokes. Swimmers must be able to swim 100 yards in front crawl, and backstroke. Basic knowledge of butterfly and breaststroke.  Practices are 60 minutes long and held 2-3 times per week.

 

Black Group

The Black Group is our advanced group that is geared towards experienced swimmer that are at least of Middle School or High School age.  The focus will be on advance technique with a max of up to 5000 yards per day.  Practices will be 90 minutes long held 3-4 times per week.

 

Platinum Group

The Platinum group is our advanced plus group that is geared towards experienced swimmers that have qualified for divisional and or state. The focus will be on advanced technique with a max of 6500 yards per day.  Practices will be 90 minutes long held 3-4 times per week plus 2 additional morning practices.
