Senior Performance - for age group: 14-18
The Senior Performance Group will be split into two groups based pending ability and commitment level. Both groups will emphasize technical details while working hard.
- Senior – This group will provide the same great planning and implementing our athletes in the Championship and Senior groups are used to. The goal of this group is to inspire kids to want to come to practice and work hard every day. Athletes will be provided ample opportunities to grow and develop into high performance athletes.
- Typical Practice Schedule:
- M,W – 5:30-7:30am (swim), 3:40-5:20pm (swim)
- T,Th – 6:00-7:30am (dryland), 3:40-5:20pm (swim)
- Friday – 5:30-7:30am (swim)
- Saturday – 6:30-9:30am (dryland and swim)
- High Performance (HP) – The goal of the Senior Performance HP group is to increase ACST’s presence on the national level. Athletes in this group will choose to make swimming a priority. Athletes will learn how, and be expected, to take a holistic approach to becoming the best they can be. They will expect themselves to be at every practice, to give and receive feedback daily with their coaches, and to take care of their recovery outside of the pool.
