Our FAST Tigers went in to the January FAST Friday Races on January 31st looking to build on their past achievements and position themselves for the countdown to the “Championship Season” and did they ever accomplish that! The annual FAST Mudsock Classic was held this year from January 17-19, 2020, and this year's meet featured fierce competition and your Tigers stepped up to the challenge - in their racing and their effort! In fact, FAST athletes competing earned 21 new state cuts, 38 new divisional cuts and 544 new lifetime best swims! USA Swimming today announced the names of 83 youth swimmers who will represent the 2019-2020 U.S. National Junior Team. The team increases in size by 16 swimmers from last year’s National Junior Team and is made up of 46 women and 37 men. The 83 selections come from 26 states across the nation. FAST is thrilled to announce that Jackson Carlile has been selected again to the Junior National Team. Each fall, USA Swimming brings the top 48 male and female USA Swimming member athletes in the nation to the National Select Camp for a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience. These 14-16 year old athletes are selected based on having a Top 3 time in an event or a top IMX score. The top 3 times in each of 14 events receive an invitation, as do the top 6 IMX points scorers.
