Your FAST Tigers were back in action over the weekend at both the 10K Open Water National Championship and the 5K Open Water Junior National Championship in Miami, FL, and at the Franklin Early Summer Slam right here in Indiana. The early season work your athletes have put into the water was certainly evident as new lifetime best swims were earned.

In Florida at the 10K Open Water National Championship, Jackson Carlile raced to a 22nd place overall finish, which was the 5th fastest of the 18 & Under competitors. The youngest in the field, Jackson secured his place on the Junior National Team for another year. Check out the full 10K Open Water results. Congratulations, Jackson!

At the 5K Open Water Junior National Championship, FAST was represented by Jackson Carlile, Aaron Frollo, Abby Jahns, Kyle Ponsler, and JoJo Ramey. With 130 athletes competing in both races, Jackson Carlile was the top FAST finisher with a 7th place finish on the Men's side. Kyle Ponsler finished 17th and Aaron Frollo finished 27th. On the women's side, JoJo Ramey took 13th and Abby Jahns finished in 31st. Check out the full Men's 5K Junior National results and the full Women's 5K Junior National results. What a weekend! We are so proud of your athletes for the efforts they put into this past weekend's racing. Many tried new events for the first time, went up against amazing competition and held their ground, and saw their hard work pay off. We are excited to see what our athletes do at the FAST 500 Invitational in two weeks. We look forward to seeing what the future holds as you reach your goals… and set new ones!
