All-Star teams from Illinois and Indiana Swimming competed last Saturday and Sunday (5/11 – 5/12) at the IU Natatorium at the 1st Annual Age Group Duel in the Pool. This long- course meet showcases the fastest athletes, ages 11 – 16, from Indiana and Illinois. The all-star athletes representing Team Indiana from FAST included Connor Carlile, Kate Mouser, and JoJo Ramey. “It is an honor to be selected for Team Indiana and it was exciting to watch them compete for Team Indiana,” began Coach Alec. “When they hit they water, they put all their effort into racing for the team. These athletes swam well, they competed hard, and they displayed the Tiger Values to all."

Connor Carlile swam to 5 lifetime best swims in his 5 individual events, as well as racing on 3 relays. Kate Mouser swam to 4 lifetime best swims in her 5 individual events and competed on 3 relays. JoJo Ramey swam to 2 lifetime best swims in her 4 individual events and raced on 3 relays. Awesome swimming, Tigers! Way to represent FAST and Team Indiana!

The Duel in the Pool will be held annually in May and rotate locations among the competing LSCs; Potomac Valley will join as the third competing LSC in 2020. Great job representing Indiana this year, Tigers! We look forward to seeing our athletes on the team for years to come!
