FAST Tigers Sizzle at the Enchanted Forest Invitational

Your FAST Tigers were back in action over the weekend as the team traveled to Noblesville, Indiana, for the Enchanted Forest Invitational at Forest Park Aquatic Center. The work your Tigers have put in this season was certainly evident. Even battling warm temperatures and bright sunshine at this outdoor meet, your Tigers raced to numerous lifetime best swims, as well as new championship cuts. In fact, FAST athletes earned a whopping 226 lifetime best swims! Saying they raced well is certainly an understatement. Special kudos go out to Austin Carlile and Tommy Mybeck for earning 2nd and 5th place respectively for the Boys 10&Under High Point Award. Ellie Henegar took 5th place for the Girls 10 & Under High Point Award. For the Girls 8 & Under High Point Award, Adley Henegar took 2nd place. Congratulations to you all!

It was a great weekend of racing and we are excited to see what our athletes do as they head into the Long Course Championship season. Our seniors kick off the championship season as they head to the Senior State Championships this coming weekend (7/18-7/21 at the IUPUI Natatorium). Our 14 & Under athletes have one final competition this coming Sunday, July 21, at the FAST “Last Chance” Sunday Splash to earn those final cuts. Then, their championship season kicks off with the Age Group State Championships in two weeks (7/26-7/28 at the IUPUI Natatorium) and the Age Group Divisional Championship the following weekend (8/03-8/04 at Franklin Community High School). The Zone Championships will be contested in Fargo, ND (8/01-8/04) and the championship season wraps up with the NCSA Summer Championships (8/06-8/10 at the IUPUI Natatorium) and the Speedo Junior National Championships (8/06-8/10 in Stanford, CA). We are excited to see you race and realize just how much all your hard work has paid off this season!
