HSC Swims Well at Summer Junior Nationals

HSC had 3 swimmers attend the recent Summer Speedo Junior National Championships in Stanford, California.  Each of them had amazing swims!

 

Callahan Dunn swam 4 events:

  1.  100 Meter Breast – she set a new HSC team record with a time of 1:14.95
  2.  200 Meter Breast – she set a new HSC team record with a time of 2:39.29
  3.  200 IM – she placed into the B finals and set a new HSC team record with a personal best time of 2:18.98, which is only 1.59 seconds off the 2020 US Olympic Trials cut.  She finished in 15th  place.
  4.  400 IM – she placed into the B finals and set a new HSC team record with a personal best time of 4:52.53, which is only 0.74 seconds off the 2020 US Olympic Trials cut.  She finished in 11th place.

 

Trystan Lundgren swam 2 events:

  1.  100 Meter Breast – he set a new HSC team record with a time of 1:06.59
  2.  200 Meter Breast – he had a strong swim with a time of 2:31.69

 

Jack Thorell swam 2 events:

  1.  50 Meter Freestyle – he had a strong swim with a time of 24.33
  2.  100 Meter Freestyle – he had a strong swim with a time of 53.87

 

We are so proud of these swimmers – congratulations and keeping working hard!
