For attendance quantification, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Sr. Prep are recorded by the practice; Junior and Senior are recorded to the nearest 15-minute increment for a more precise measure of the total training stimulus. During HS season, HS swimmers will be credited for RACE and HS practice hours.

Meet Results


Racing in Cary, NC as members of Team Kentucky this past week, Canaan Timberlake and Landon Badstibner went head to head with some of the fastest 13-14 boys in the southern US. Timberlake notched PRs in the 2 br (2.44.23) and 1 fr (62.69) and recorded his highest individual finish in the 1 br (63.34), fast enough for 14th place. Badstibner raced to PRs in the 1 fl (67.00) and 2 im (2.30.85) and finished the mile for the first time in 18.22.91, earning him his highest finish of the meet at 20th.  TeamKentucky finished 10th of the 13 LSCs competing.



Racing only an hour away from Cary in Greensboro, NC, at the Southern Zone Futures Championships, Luke Shourds and Neal Wolfram competed against some of the fastest senior swimmers in the southern US over. Shourds set team records in the 2 br (2.25.66) and 2 im (2.08.46), the latter race of which earned him his highest finish of 6th. Wolfram set a TR in the 8 fr (8.25.53) to place 7th and had his highest finish in the 4 fr (4.04.12) for 6th place. The meet was attended by 650 athletes including several who made Olympic Trial cuts at the meet.
