Lisa Peacock

Hello Eagles,

I hope everyone had a good break and are ready to get back in the water.

I realize with school starting and other extra-curricular activities swim practice is the last thing on the radar, but we will start tomorrow, Monday, August 8th.  With that saidthe times previously posted are incorrect and will be talked about in the news down below.

Here is the news for the week:

-Practice starts on Monday, August 8th and will be at Baldinado pool until Sept 19th ,at which point we will move inside to Gardner.

Practice times until Sept. 19th: Mon-Thur-Beginner-5:15-6:15, Int-5:15-6:40, ADV-5:15-7:00.

Forgive me for the slight modification, my son has cross country practice and I need to be able to pick him up when he is done.

We are still working on times for when we move inside and should have them nailed down in the next week or so.

-I would like to congratulate Cameron Peacock on a fine 13 and over state meet, as he came away with 3 best times.  Great job Cam!!  At the same time, I would like to apologize for not being at the meet with him due to family commitments and cost of travel.  I would like to thank the Paducah coach for taking Cam under his wing as he has done in the past and guiding him through the meet.

-Please review the emails Mrs. Peacock has sent out regarding our hosted meet and the forming of a board.  Swimming Eagle Aquatics has for too long gone without a real infrastructure and hopefully those two events will help with that process.

-Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Graham for everything she has done for the team and wish her best of luck in Florida.  With that said we have one and potentially 2 volunteer coaches that will start on deck in the next few weeks.  I will introduce them as we get nearer to them coaching.

As always if you have any comments, questions, concerns or suggestions please contact me via email, text, phone or on deck when I’m not actively coaching.

See you at the pool,

Coach Dan
