The SKY Swim Team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the SKY Swim Team here to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Group Levels
Our program group levels offer competitive swimming to all ages and skill levels, from the age of 5 to 19. The Group Levels are a step by step progression through the program. Beginning with the Red Group and ending with the Senior group. Moving swimmers up through the levels is the sole responsibilty of the coach staff.
Spring Little Dippers Little Dippers is a 4 week lesson program for beginner to novice swimmers ages 2 to 12. The program is based on teaching the fundamentals of floating, water safety, and competitive swimming strokes. The classes will be offered on Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday schedule. The size of the classes is 5 to 1. Registration will be held at Bowling Green High School swimming pool on April 1st – 14th. Registration Dates: August 19th Class times: 3:30 to 4, 4 to 4:30, 4:30 to 5:00 Days offered: Monday –Wednesday, Tuesday-Thursday Class Fee: $55 (no discount for additional swimmers) This is our introductory group for the first time swimmer or for swimmers emerging from Summer League Teams. Stroke fundamentals and a love for the sport are emphasized. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 2-3 practices per week and selected local swim meets. This group is offered at Bowling Green High School, Central City and Carpenter Center. Workout Days/Times: Red I Monday - Thursday 4:30 to 5:00, Friday 4:30 to 5:00 P.M., and Sunday 1 to 1:30 P.M. Red II & III Monday - Thursday 5:00 to 5:45 PM, Friday 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and Sunday 1 to 2 PM White Group Athletes in this group are usually at least 7 years old and have completed the Red Group move-up skills list. This group is exposed to training for the first time while trying to prepare for the 200 Freestyle and 200 Individual Medley races. Competing at swim meets is highly encouraged at a rate of about once per month. Workout Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 5:45 to 7:00, Friday 4:30 to 6:00 P.M., and Sunday 1:00 to 2:30 P.M.
Blue Group Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Training takes precedence over technique work for the first time in the athlete's development. Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle. Monday - Thursday 5:00 to 7:70, Friday 4:30 to 6:00 P.M., and Sunday 1 to 3 P.M.
Senior Group Minimum age for entry into this group is 12 (girls) or 13 (boys). Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Senior group are directed towards making their Sectional Time Standards. Minimum training sets include: 30x100 @ 1:20 Senior Group Coach: Dee Wilkins and Mitch Clark Monday - Thursday 5:00 to 7:00, Friday 4:30 to 6:00 P.M., Saturday 1 to 3 pm Monday - Tueday- Thursday - Friday 5:30 to 7:00 A.M.
