Est. 2011

• STORM was founded at the request of parents that wanted a swim team that focused on the athlete, not just the swimmer.  Since our first practice on August 20, 2011, STORM has continued to grow in numbers and produce excellent athletes in and out of the pool.
• Katie Cannon swims the first race in STORM history... and makes a state time!

Year 2: 2012-13 

• August 15, 2012, a dream started to become reality.  The 1.2 million BTU heater arrived at Cypress Lakes and the team now has a location in the river parishes that was truely "year round!"
• Lane Colemann becomes STORM's first All-State Swimmer.
• Lane Colemann becomes the first STORM swimmer to be selected to the Louisiana's Zone team! 
• Ethan Turner, age 6, becomes the first champion in the 25 fly and 100 IM.  He also captures the "6 & Under High Point Award"  

Year 3:  2013-2014

• STORM adds weight conditioning to our Silver Group's workout
• Team records continue to be broken
• Anna Fusilier becomes STORM's first 9 year old to qualify for state

Year 4:  2014-2015

• Pedro Rivera becomes STORM's first Sectional swimmer

Year 5:  2015-2016

• Pedro Rivera becomes STORM's second All-State Swimmer

Year 6:  2016-2017

• Austin Carter, Lane Coleman, Patrick Murray, Antonio Rivera achieve Sectional Times 
• STORM establishes satelite location at Terrytown Country Club - New Orleans Westbank
