We have 3 main aspects of our team an also offer Seasonal Camps and Clinic

  • Competition Team--Ages 6-18 
    • Must meet certain competencies and committ to our programs requirements
    • Classes are leveled to Pre-Team, Junior Team and Senior Team
  • Recreational Team--Ages 3-14
    • Must be able to swim back and free independently; may swim in meets, but not required.
    • Minimal committment
    • Technique based classes, so endurance and speed progress are slower paced since they are NOT the focus of these classes.
  • Swim lessons year round in Metairie
    • Lessons are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and can be taken 1day or 2days a week
  • Seasonal Clinics and Camps
    • ​Typically offered during the holidays or also

Brief Description of who we are and what we do below: 

 Level 1  Recreation class

Class is based in technical fundamentals of swimming. Swimmers must be able to swim a 25fr without assistance to be in this class and between the ages of 4 and 8.  Swimmers must select class days/Times for their specific pool.

Level 2 Recreation class

Class curriculum is based in the technical fundamentals of swimming. Swimmers must be able to swim a 25 fr without assistance to be in this class and between the ages of  8- 14
Swimmers must select class days/Times for their specific pool

Seababies:

Class curriculum is based in the technical fundamentals of swimming at a pace conducive to our youngest swimmers. Swimmers must be ablet to swim independently half the length of the 25yd pool without assistance. Swimmers must also be able to kick independently on their backs for half of the length of the 25 yd pool. This if for swimmers between the ages of 3 and 6.
Swimmers must select class days/Times for their specific pool

Pre-Comp team

Class curriculum is based in the technical fundamentals of swimming an pre-competition skills.  Swimmers are required to compete in one team hosted competition per season (Season 1- August –March and Season 2 March-July).  Swimmers must be able to swim a 25 yd fr, 25yd bk and have knowledge of breast and fly.  Swimmers must select class days/Times for their specific pool. For swimmers aged 6-14

Junior Competition Team

Class curriculum is based in advanced technical skills for competition swimming. Our Junior Competition team is by placement from our coaches. Swimmers are offered a more flexible schedule with the ability to practice at any of our pools.  Practice schedule is posted on our website.  *Some exceptions to the schedule can be made for siblings. Participation in monthly meets and the Championship meet are required. For swimmers aged 6-12

Senior Competition Team
Class curriculum is based in advanced technical skills for competition swimming. Our Senior Competition team is by placement from our coaches. Swimmers are offered a more flexible schedule with the ability to practice at any of our pools.  Practice schedule is posted on our website.  *Some exceptions to the schedule can be made for siblings. Participation in monthly meets and the Championship meet are required. For swimmers aged 11-18

Swim Lessons-We teach a graduated swim lesson program from beginner level (Starfish) to Advanced (Shark) and work with each family and swimmers to promote the best learning possible. Our goal is to have your child love swimming with us to be a part of our competitive or non-competitive teams  as they grow older. All of our lessons in Metairie and Laplace are held two days a week and are monthly. Each month your child gets 8 classes forty five minute classes and moved to the higher level class if the skill level is appropriate. Please visit our swim lessons page for more information. Private swim lessons: (A) for stroke technique improvements and (B) learn-to-swim lessons. As needed per individual.
