2023 Eastern Zone Leadership Retreat for Athletes & Coaches!

Maine Swimming will be hosting the first ever Eastern Zone Athlete Leadership Retreat June 22-25 at Colby College!
The retreat is geared for athletes who have an interest in the dry-side of swimming including governance, DEI, Safe Sport, policy and giving athletes a voice in Maine Swimming. The event will include a long course trials finals meet, workshops, networking, games and a SCY shootout meet. There will be athletes attending from New England, Allegheny Mountain, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and other LSCs.
Athletes must be at least 16 years of age or entering sophomore year in the fall of 2023.

This event is FREE for New England Swimming athletes and coaches. Only 16 athlete spots and 2 coach spots from each LSC.

We are in need of coaches who would like to attend this event to coach and mentor the athletes.
