At what age can my swimmer join your club?

Lakers accepts swimmers from ages five to eighteen years of age. After a in-water evaluation by one of our coaching staff your swimmer will be placed into one of our five swimming levels Minnows|Speedster|Junior|Intermediate|Senior

Where does your club train, and for how long?

Currently our club can be found training out of L'Ance Creuse High School, Lakeview High School, Southlake High School, and Warren Woods Tower High School. In the summer months we are privileged to train out of the Lac Sainte Clair Pool in Saint Clair Shores.

Typically our training schedule is Monday through Saturday depending on swimming level. Our weekday practices usually begin after 6:00PM, while our Saturday training begins at 9:00AM

Minnow- 3 x week / 45-60 minute sessions

Speedster- 4 x week/ 60 minute session

Junior - 5 -6 x week / 90 minute sessions

Intermediate - 6 x week / 2  hour sessions 

Senior - 6-9 x week / 2.5 hour sessions

What are your club affilations?

We are affiliated with both USA Swimming and Michigan Swimming.

Does my swimmer have to compete?

We encourage every swimmer to compete, but swimmers are not required to do so.
