2017 Swim Team Banquet

Season Highlights:

2017 Madison Division Championship Meet

The CBFY swimmers competed against 7 YMCA’s on February 4-5 at the Madison Division Championships for the Penndel League.  Overall the girls team placed 2^nd to the Bethlehem YMCA girls by only 20 points.  The boys team took first place in the Championship meet.

2017 East Districts

During the 2017 East YMCA Districts CBFY had 46 swimmers compete out of the 52 qualifiers.  Overall the girls team placed 11^th and the boys placed 12^th out of 19 teams.  CBFY finished the meet with a total of 19 YMCA State qualifiers.  

USA Swimming:

Swimmers that competed in Short Course USA Swimming this year are ranked 71 out of 236 teams.

2017 YMCA States

Held at Penn State University the CBFY had a total of 19 swimmers compete against the top 24  PA YMCA swimmers in their age group.  CBFY had a total of 7 swimmers place on the podium.  Lina Hofmann became the CBFY’s first State Champion in the 50 Breaststroke with a time of 31.73 in the 11-12 age group.  This time also places Lina 3^rd  in the Middle Atlantic LSC  in USA Swimming.  The MA LSC consists of a little more than 200 teams.
