There will be no practices on Saturday, June 11, as Delaware Swim Team transitions to the summer practice schedule.  The summer practice schedule begins this Sunday, June 12, with practices outside at the University of Delaware Outdoor Pool.  The practice schedule for the Competitive Program is available  here.

 

The Summer Clinic group also begins this coming week, on Monday, June 14.  Practices will be at New Castle on Mondays, and Pike Creek on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  The practice schedule for the Summer Clinic group is available here.

The NLAC Swimfest is a long course meet on Friday through Sunday, June 17-19, in Lewisburg, PA.

 

The meet director has sent out an updated meet timeline.  Please use these times for next weekend:

 

Session 1, Friday 13 & Overs
Warm-Up: 8:00 AM

Session Start: 9:00 AM

 

Session 2, Friday 1500 Free

Warm-Up: 1:00 PM

Session Start: 2:00 PM

 

Session 3, Saturday 13 & Overs
Warm-Up: 7:30 AM

Session Start: 8:30 AM

 

Session 4, Saturday 400 Free
Warm-Up: 12:15 PM

Session Start: 12:45 PM

A parking map has been made available by the meet director, showing the parking areas for the swim meet.  Please keep in mind that US Route 15, which is the main road into Lewisburg, and the historic football stadium next to the highway, are at the bottom of the map, with north being the left of the map.

FIRECRACKER CLASSIC

 

Meet Announcement

 

The KA Firecracker Classic is a long course meet on Friday through Sunday, July 1-3, in Carlisle, PA.  The meet is open to 9 & over Competitive Program swimmers who are registered to swim with the team through the summer.  The deadline to sign up is today, June 10.

 

Once again, the coaching staff will select all entries for swimmers.  Swimmers will only declare by session.  Availability during a session or other limitations should be left in the Notes section.
