He was the son of Carol (Meddaugh) Menck and the late Robert Menck Jr. He was born in Smallwood, NY October 12, 1960 and moved with his family to Brattleboro, VT. On July 11, 2020 the MESI House of Delegates approved Maine Swimming's new LOGO! This logo was designed in collaboration with USA Swimming and is the first LSC design approved in this process! As part of the return to competition plan, the USA Swimming Board of Directors has approved for July 2020: LSCs will be limited to the sanctioning of meets comprised only of athletes and clubs registered within the LSC. Furthermore, times achieved in sanctioned meets MAY NOT be used for any USA Swimming programs, camps, or competitions above the LSC level.
